Right to Work for Less
Right to Work for Less forces could begin collecting their petition signatures on Primary Election Day - Tuesday, January 15, 2008.

The Michigan Democratic Party plans to prevent this by having volunteers at every polling site to discourage people from signing the petition by telling people how devastating it would be. There are 5,200 precincts and 3,200 polling sites and they are in need of volunteers to staff these polling sites. They need to try to cover 2,500 polling sites with two people, one for the a.m. and for the p.m. They are looking for volunteers or help finding volunteers.

Please email contact information to Luke Canfora lcanfora@miaflcio.org at the Michigan State AFL-CIO if you are interested in volunteering. Volunteers will be assigned to specific polling sites and given training and literature. We have less than 6 weeks to prepare for our first face-to-face Right to Work battle. If you have an interest in volunteering or know people who are willing, please forward their contact info as soon as possible.
